Cristina is a mechanobiologist interested in studying the mechano-molecular basis and dynamics regulating how cells communicate, interact and sense mechanical stimuli at the nanoscale. She obtained a Ph.D. from the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics (Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria) and did her postdoctoral training at the Mechanobiology Institute of Singapore. She has a passion for microscopy, in particular superresolution techniques.
