Michelle is currently in her 9th semester as an undergraduate biochemistry student at the
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, working in Cristina Bertocchi´s lab. Her main interests
revolve around advanced microscopy and interdisciplinary biomedical research, with a focus on
mechanobiology and understanding diverse biological processes from this point of view. When
not working or studying, Michelle dedicates her spare time to digital art, oil painting and
watercolors.
